THE STORY BEHIND THE CARD
Growing up, I celebrated both American holidays and Chinese traditions. I was proud to be a part of two cultures, but I also felt a sense of being in-between. I was always either too little or two much of either side. In my art, I wanted to express my unique identity in a way that would resonate with other Asian Americans. I wanted to use symbols that were meaningful to both American and Chinese cultures. I also wanted to use colors that were representative of both countries. From here, this is the beginning of growing my Heritage Collection of products that I hope you will be proud to display in your home and to share your story with the world.
